Just a few things to do & places to visit whilst staying in our holiday cottages...

Walking & bird-watching

  • Stay on the farm! The farmland around the cottages is crossed with footpaths and is full of many species of bird and wildlife. If you're very lucky you may glimpse one of our resident badgers and in the spring you'll see where the expression "Mad as a March hare" comes from!
  • Snipe Dales Nature Reserve & Country Park are just a few minutes drive away.
  • A 25 minute drive takes you to Gibraltar Point, a huge nature reserve of open, sandy seashore and sand dunes.

Seaside fun

  • The seaside resorts of Skegness & Mablethorpe are 25 minutes away.
  • There are miles of safe & less busy beaches the same distance away.

Sight-seeing & shopping

  • The historic local market towns of Louth and Horncastle offer many unique shops to browse in.
  • Boston, departure point for the Pilgrim Fathers, is about 30 minutes away, and has most high street stores.
  • The city of Lincoln, with its blend of modern precinct and old-world charm is just 40 minutes away, it's well worth visiting the spectacular cathedral there.
  • The Aviation Heritage Centre at East Kirkby, with its Avro Lancaster bomber, is a few minutes drive away.
  • The newly opened Stickney Farm Park is 15 minutes away.
